Advanced Image Placement
The Hot Banana Image Inserter enables you to insert Images directly into Web page content without any prior technical knowledge. You can also search for images on-the-fly, find images by pre-defined categories, preview images in-line with text, override original image attributes (width, height, alignment, alt tag), and you can choose the "Click to Enlarge" option when inserting an Image.
Image Placement Features:
- Easily add images to Web pages
- Easily modify images that have already been inserted into Web pages (i.e. modify the alt tag, size, select a different image, etc.)
- Locate the appropriate image using the search feature
- Preview images before inserting into Web pages
- Place multiple images on Web pages
- Instantly modify image alt tags (the title tags that appear when Web site visitors hover over images with their mouse). These tags are mostly used for disabled Web site visitors)
- Upload new images instantly (in one step administrators and users may add an image to a Web page and insert the image into the Digital Asset Manager)
- Modify the size of images (increase or decrease size) - modifying the size of an image does not affect the actual size of an image, resizing only affects the size of an image on an actual Web page
- Add padding around an image, administrators may control the left, right, top and bottom padding settings - padding creates extra white space between an image and the text on a Web page
- Administrators my use the "click to enlarge" feature - the feature allows Web site visitors to view images in their full size (it only makes sense to use this feature if an administrator has decreased the size of an image in Hot Banana).
Note: When using the "click to enlarge" feature, a Web site visitor can click on the image, so the image pops up in a new browser window, in its full size.
