  • Krista LaRiviere, General Manager & Co-Founder
    Hot Banana Software Inc.

    As General Manager and co-founder, Krista brings ten years of entrepreneurial and web content management leadership to the Hot Banana team. Since 1999 she has been responsible for the sustained growth of the company and has proven success in growing the business, driving strategy and directing the team.

    Krista graduated with a BA in Economics, a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) and a post-graduate degree in Applied Information Technology. She has been named as a top-ten finalist in the Business Development Bank of Canada 's Young Entrepreneur Awards and was recently awarded with the Nipissing University Alumni Achievement Award for success in her career.

    Krista sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA), Women In Technology (WIT) and her local Rotary Club. She is also involved with Women Entrepreneurs of Canada and AceTech - Academy for Software CEOs.

  • Chris Adams, Director of Engineering & Co-Founder
    Hot Banana Software Inc.

    As Director of Engineering and a co-founder of Hot Banana, Chris is responsible for all Hot Banana product R&D, hosting infrastructure, project implementations, training and support.

    Chris is constantly balancing the vision of good Web site design standards with the implementation of best practices for making Web sites work and perform well for clients. He is progressively combining Web Content Management, Web Site Optimization and Marketing Automation into one marketing technology platform. This involves expertise in email marketing technology and communications, design and content workflow, lead generation, interface design, W3C compliance, accessibility, Web analytics, search engine friendliness and the Web Form to CRM process.

    Chris combines a strong BSc. (Hons) technical education, with a practical hands on product development experience, with a keen entrepreneurial management sense.

    He is a published author, advisor, and speaker on a variety of Web Content Management and Web site optimization topics. He is an expert in the area of Web Sites, Landing Pages, Web Analytics and Search Engine Optimization, and how Web content management can be best leveraged.

    Chris is a member of the Association of Internet Marketing and Sales, Canada (AIMS) and is on the Search Engine Advisory Council. He is a Board Member of the Barrie Film Festival and is also on the Advisory Council of Georgian College – School of Visual Arts & Design.

  • Jeff Riddall, Sales Manager
    Hot Banana Software Inc.

    Jeff has been a member of the Hot Banana sales team since 2003 and assumed the role of Sales Manager in October 2006. Prior to joining Hot Banana Jeff was the Toronto Business Manager for an Internet Professional Services company, where he was responsible for business development and project management. He was also an IS Manager for a national insurance paramedical services firm, where he first started to recognize and incorporate the Internet as a powerful business tool.

    Jeff has helped define Web Content Management solutions and Web marketing strategies for numerous Hot Banana clients including, InsureMe.com, Johns Hopkins University, The Law Society of Upper Canada, Algoma Steel, Nortel Networks, Telus Mobility, and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

    Jeff leads his team with the understanding that their primary role is to help clients identify and implement Web Content Management solutions, which will maximize their Web marketing investments.

    Jeff has a Bachelor of Journalism/Political Science from Carleton University .

  • Brian Paddock, Project Manager

    With over 11 years of international Internet project management experience, Brian brings to Hot Banana a solid technical discipline founded in the software product lifecycle by developing ColdFusion based ERP's and designing relational database models for NGO organizations such as the Bill and Belinda Gates foundation (http://www.achap.org/). Brian was trained by a highly respected SAP partner for the southern hemisphere's (http://www.vzap.co.za/).

    Having true leadership, initiative and successful communication skills is evident in the projects managed by Brian, many of them for high profile fortune 500 corporations (http://www.honeywell.com), Unions (http://www.cupw.ca), financial institutions (http://www.cdic.ca/) and associations (http://www.cma.ca).

    Brian has been managing the development of many Web sites over the past 7 years and will apply all his technical knowledge, project management and business skills to Hot Banana client implementations.

  • Tessa March, Finance Manager
    Hot Banana Software Inc.

    As a Chartered Accountant, Tessa has gained valuable global experience with Price WaterhouseCoopers in Canada as well as in France and New Zealand. For a period of 8 years, Tessa was also an Ontario Provincial Police Constable and was given the opportunity to work as a Detective on Fraud related investigations throughout Ontario.

    Tessa graduated with a BA in French Literature and a post-graduate designation in Chartered Accountancy. She is currently a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada and Ontario. Away from the office, Tessa likes to challenge herself competing in a variety of Triathlons and Marathons.

  • Danielle Carty, Channel Sales Manager
    Hot Banana Software Inc.

    As Channel Sales Manager, Danielle is responsible for developing and managing global channel partnerships for the Lyris, Inc. brands including Lyris, EmailLabs, ClickTracks and Hot Banana.

    Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree from University of Portsmouth in the UK. With over 9 years in the technology space, her consultative approach has been well recognized. Past accomplishments include being honored as a Xerox ‘Top Gun’ recipient and Xerox Agency President’s Club Winner.

    Danielle’s career with Lyris, Inc. began as Hot Banana Software’s Channel Sales Manager in 2006. With Hot Banana, she successfully re-launched their Partner Program and expanded its reach to the United States west coast and into the Australian market.
