Senior Flex Software Engineers
Position: Senior Software Engineer – Flex, AJAX, Web Services
Reports To: Director of Engineering, Lyris
Location: 85 Bayfield Street, Suite 401, Barrie, ON, CANADA
Type: Full Time
Description: Under the direction from the Director of Engineering of Lyris, this individual will work on a team developing a new software product.
Duties:
- Work on the design and development of new product features
- Work closely with Project Managers, Developers and Designers
- Advanced understanding of the software development lifecycle
Qualifications:
• Strong experience with Flash, Flex & ActionScript 3.0 (4+ years experience preferred)
• Excellent Object Oriented Programming skills
• Experience with either Java or ColdFusion MX Programming
• Strong knowledge of XML technologies, including experience with XML Objects
• 4+ years experience in JavaScript, XHTML & CSS
• Experience with web services
• Basic experience with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or Fireworks
• Ability to work with remote teams
• Successful candidates will have very strong aptitude, enjoy problem solving and have strong analytical & communication abilities
• Successful candidates will be highly self-motivated and capable of growing quickly into a leadership position
