Position: Implementation Specialist
Reports To: Director of Delivery
Location: 85 Bayfield Street, Suite 402, Barrie, ON, CANADA
Type: Full Time
Description: Under the direction from the Director of Delivery this individual is a technical web designer and will be responsible for implementing creative web designs into the Hot Banana software product and launching web sites to the end client.
Duties:
- Work with creative web designers to integrate web designs into the Hot Banana web content management software
- Ensure creative web designs are XHTML and W3C compliant
- Work closely with project managers, developers and designers to achieve the end results for the client
- Commitment to continuous learning of technical web design and Hot Banana's products and services
- Quality assurance of technical web designs
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in a relevant area
- Minimum two years experience with the following technologies: ColdFusion, ASP, Microsoft SQL Server, XML, XSL/XSLT and DTD, ODBC or JDBC, Adobe authoring tools including Dreamweaver, Eclipse, Flash,
- Advanced knowledge of XHTML, CSS, DHTML and JavaScript/AJAX
- Demonstrated proficiency with cross browser and cross platform compatibility
- Demonstrated proficiency with DOM and W3C Web Standards
- Demonstrated experience working with web content management systems
- Familiarity with web based testing and QA processes.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
